I wanted to take this opportunity to say hello and let you know some of the ways you can get in touch with me. I am looking forward to a great year and I welcome you all to come in and have a look around, discuss with me any concerns you may have, or just the opportunity to say hello. I really value the communication between you and myself. I feel that open communication will help your children have a very successful year. I have a number of ways you can try to get in touch with me:
I have the students use their planners daily. It is extremely important for your child to develop strong organizational skills. These planners will also help me communicate to you any incomplete work or feedback that I may have throughout the week. I would greatly appreciate it if you can sign off on these on a daily basis so that I know you have seen it.
I am happy to have a quick chat with you in the morning or right after school regarding any issues that may come up. If you would like to set up a longer meeting I am happy to arrange a day that works for both of us!
